COVID-19 has been a revolutionary factor in various elements of human life. Many countries (third world countries) were unable to utilize this period. However, New Zealand during 2020 prioritised this period.
Two HE(higher education) lecturers started to analyze the impacts of social isolation across various fields. They concluded their survey and produced a report on the measures ans practices that is to be taken on social isolation. Their paper consists of social systems which were complex and adaptive to the situation. This system revealed the very complex impacts of the pandemic. Their paper also acknowledges the hardships of students and produces ways to tackle them. The inability of practical learners to participate in collaborative and and interactive sessions is a challenge understated by the paper. The paper understates the value of collaborative earlier methods.
COVID-19 has created various troubles in HE institutions globally. New Zealand faced a sudden shift to online classes due to the pandemic to which lecturers had to adapt to online education platforms quickly. Even for a few number of cases, the imposed lockdown has created unexpected effects on education at all levels. To strictly analyze the experience of students in higher education, lecturers employed old-school methods which enabled critical reflection.
In a nutshell, the pressure and the impact created by lifestyle changes and social isolation has led to the creation of better and more adaptive education systems.
