IMPACT OF COVID 19 ON CAMPUS PLACEMENTS IN COLLEGES.

Due to COVID 19 outbreak, the major corporate companies have stopped offering campus placements in colleges. First of all, what is campus placement in colleges?

Campus Placement/Recruitment is a process conducted by corporate companies to offer jobs to students who are going to complete there higher studies. So, this process provides nice opportunity to young and talented students. So, in this process companies approach universities, colleges and select students who are good in all the field, who clears all the round and exams, creates a good impression towards the company and passes in HR interview will be offered job. So, the jobs will be waiting for the students who are going to complete their graduation.

Due to COVID 19 spread, all the process was made into ONLINE MODE. This COVID 19 pandemic disturbed the whole process of campus placement in colleges. The COVID 19 pandemic gave the worst experience ever as it affected the business, companies globally. Due to the extended lockdown, the process was not able to turn again to offline at that time. The situation was depended on online mode which was very new to the students and it took long time to adapt to it. In most of the colleges, campus placement takes place around December to April every year, but the pandemic changed the whole time period of campus placement. But the companies stopped offering jobs as they were not ready to take any kind of risk as anything may happen to students because the pandemic was in the peak and it will affect the company. Still, some companies were were offering jobs to students.

So, all the process was turned into ONLINE MODE. All the exams, interviews was made into online. Students who are have strong internet connection will attend the exams and interviews. But the students who live in remote places may not have proper internet connection. The students they are well known to their subjects, but do not have proper internet connection will suffer a lot to complete the process. Because of internet issues may students lose the chance of campus placements.

So, as a result of COVID 19 pandemic, the students who adapt to online world will survive this process, but the students who are not much opened to online will lose a great opportunity that is "CAMPUS PLACEMENT."
